MEANING :Invoke Him as all and everything ; as Siva, the Lord ofauspiciousness; stable as a rock, the origin of all beings and asthe unspendable hidden treasure and contribution of all. He isthe Lord of occurance, the source and the goal of imagination,the one who maintains all. He is the Lord of emanation andthe Lord of all and everything as well as the Lord of splendours.Explanation :1. All means that the Lord pervades all. Here all includescreation and beyond creation.2. Sarva means the Lord of the dissolution or merging ofthe creation.3. Sivah means the Lord who is the embodiment ofauspiciousness. Realise gradually that whatever occurs contributesto the ultimate well-being.4 Just as the rock is stablest of all, that is on the physicalplane, the Lord is the stablest of all the creation. He forms thevery content that stands eternally. On His surface, everythingfloats.5. The origin of beings is the monad which descends asJeeva or permanent atom (refer Secret Doctrine by H. P.Blavatsky).6 & 7 The unspendable hidden treasure means the sourceof even Moola Prakriti, the primordial substance as well as divinethought. Both of them are borrowed by the devas who comefrom them both. Again everyone leaves his own work as hisown contribution that returns to the same treasure.8. Occurrence is the coming across of the individual withthe remaining part of the creation which forms his background.37
