For the above reason, the presence of the Lord exists inhis own depths of subjectivity under his own surface of objectivity.7. For the above reason and due to the constant escape ofmind into the manyness of objectivity through the senses, theLord is tough to be approached again and again.8. For the same reasons described above, the Lord is alwaysconcealed within the consciousness of the perceiver as a secretwell-protected by the viscosity of one’s own presence.9. Yet he can be detected by his devotees through the sacredwheel and the mace which stand as his weapons forever. Thewheel is the ring of the horizon around the observer and is knownas ‘The good vision’ (Su-darsana) . The mace is the comprehensionof the Sun-globe and the ray of the Sun which travels from theSun-globe to himself.207
