Youth games are sometimes cancelled during very highrisk conditions.• During extremely cold temperatures, the risk of exposed flesh becoming frozen isgreatly increased at wind chill factors below -20 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperature,wind chill and degree of wetness are taken into account during cold weather.2. If a weather radio is available, check with the National Weather Service three hoursprior to attending a football game or practice. Otherwise, watch the Weather Channelon television, look at the weather forecast in a recent newspaper, or check theweather on www.weatherchannel.com.
