The Spacer Design<br />
We will next create the spacer design using more of AutoCAD’s drawing tools.<br />
Start a New Drawing<br />
1. In the Application Menu, select [New] to start a new<br />
drawing.<br />
2. The Select Template<br />
dialog box appears on<br />
the screen. Accept the<br />
default acad.dwt as the<br />
template to open.<br />
The dwt file type is the<br />
AutoCAD template file<br />
format. An AutoCAD<br />
template file contains predefined<br />
settings to reduce<br />
the amount of tedious<br />
repetitions.
