Pursuant to a landmark decision published under BH2008.1781, the<br />

state may only be held liable for damages caused to personal health<br />

by the use of medicines, if the manufacturer is exempted from<br />

product liability on the basis that the state of scientific and technical<br />

knowledge at the time when the product was put into circulation<br />

was not such as to enable the existence of the defect to be<br />

Studies at and graduated from the József Attila University School of<br />

Law, Szeged. Postgraduate studies at the City University of London<br />

and the T.M.C. Asser Institute in The Hague in 2001 and 2002.<br />

November 2007. Contributor to a wide range of publications and<br />

textbooks and regular speaker at professional events. Admitted to<br />

the Budapest bar association in 2004. Areas of specialisation: IP<br />

and regulatory (electronic communications, media and data<br />

protection) law, product risk and liability, biotech law. Sector<br />

experience: consumer products, health and life sciences, IT, TMT,<br />

media, publishing and entertainment (incl. new media), logistics.<br />
