José Luis is the Madrid partner responsible for the Litigation &
Arbitration practice area. He advises both Spanish and international
clients in all their pre-contentious and contentious matters related to
commercial litigation and arbitration.
He has been involved in recent years in the major class action suits
related to product liability in Spain. He has been involved in product
liability cases for clients in, amongst others, the pharmaceutical,
energy and automotive industry. His team has also assisted Lovells’
product liability network handling numerous product recalls.

Jara Mínguez joined Lovells in 2006 and is one of the litigators
within the Madrid office of Lovells. She deals with all aspects of
contract law and (class action) litigation. Her litigation practice
focuses on product liability and commercial matters. Jara also
provides advice on issues such as product safety and product
recalls, including the notification of product recalls to the Spanish
authorities.
