Donata Grasso is a senior associate in the Allen & Overy<br />

Luxembourg Litigation Department. She advises both domestic and<br />

foreign clients mainly on civil and commercial matters, as well as on<br />

procedural matters. She has extensive experience in areas such as<br />

debt recovery, enforcement proceedings (exequatur and garnishment<br />

proceedings) and is regularly involved in banking and corporate<br />

litigation, including bank liability, shareholder and partnership<br />

disputes, bankruptcy and criminal related issues. She holds a<br />

Master of Law from the University of Metz (France), obtained in<br />

1995. She qualified as a Luxembourg lawyer in 1996 and was<br />

admitted to practise before the Luxembourg High Court of Justice in<br />

1999. She is highly recommended as a dispute resolution<br />

practitioner in The Legal 500 <strong>2009</strong> (online edition). She is fluent<br />

in English, French and Italian.<br />
