2.1.4 <strong>Tool</strong>ing Interface Plates<br />
There are two types of Interface Plates, <strong>Tool</strong>ing Interface Plates and Vertical <strong>Tool</strong>ing Interface<br />
Plates. The <strong>Tool</strong>ing Interface Plate attaches horizontally to the <strong>Tool</strong> Changer and the customer<br />
tooling. The Vertical <strong>Tool</strong>ing Plate attaches to the customer tooling and the <strong>Tool</strong> Changer is<br />
attached to the customer tooling either directly or using an interface plate. Both types of Interface<br />
Plates have two bushings and one alignment pin to position the <strong>Tool</strong>ing Interface Plate to the Pin<br />
and Bushing Mounting Module.<br />

2.1.5 Proximity Sensor Modules<br />
The proximity sensor screws directly to the mounting module. The proximity sensor provides a<br />
signal indicating the tool is located in the tool stand.<br />
