Pressure <strong>vessels</strong> are normally supplied with a tripod<br />

which can be fastened either to the vessel body or lid.<br />

The bottom drain is fitted with a plug. The lid is sealed<br />

with a gasket <strong>and</strong> a spare is supplied.<br />

A stirrerhead <strong>and</strong> stirrer are mounted in the centre of<br />

the lid. (In order to avoid damage to the stirrerhead<br />

during transport, the stirrer is detached be<strong>for</strong>e dispatch).<br />

The other ports are arranged in a circle<br />

around the central port. All lids have sight <strong>and</strong> illumination<br />

glasses, <strong>and</strong> a <strong>pressure</strong> gauge <strong>and</strong> excess<br />

<strong>pressure</strong> valve. The connections can be seen in the<br />

Unassigned ports are fitted with plugs. The instructions<br />

<strong>for</strong> use must be carefully studied be<strong>for</strong>e the<br />

vessel is put into service.<br />

A set of tools is supplied as well as material certificates<br />

<strong>for</strong> the parts subject to <strong>pressure</strong> according to<br />

EN 10204 3.1B <strong>and</strong> a works test certificate complying<br />

with the Pressure Vessel Regulations.<br />
