36 Accessories Fittings and spare parts This section is divided into three parts Fittings to pressure vessels that are supplied as original equipment. Retrofitting such items requires considerable extra outlay. Removable fittings to existing connections or ports, which might be required through changes in application. Such items are adaptors, valves, drains and safety equipment. In cases of doubt, please contact us, quoting the serial number of the vessel concerned. Consumables This heading includes fittings, gaskets, bolts, glasses and special tools. Only those parts that are suitable and approved for use with the particular vessel should be used. Materials Unless otherwise noted, all spare parts listed in this catalogue are made from 316 (1.4571) stainless steel. Sightglasses are made from either borosilicate glass or Vycor. Gaskets are available in PTFE, Klingersil, Gylon and other materials. Certification Certification to EN 10204 3.1B is available for practically all components made from 316 stainless steel and borosilicate glass. A charge will be made for such certification.
