The Avaloq Front Platform (AFP)
is the basis for various Front
applications. This includes
our solutions for web banking,
mobile banking, as well as wealth
management.
As a Software Engineer you
understand the functional
requirements of our customers and
you will be specifying, designing
and developing the new way of
banking. Your contact to industry
experts, external partners and
customers constantly challenges
you to improve your knowledge of
the software you create.
Your Responsibilities
• Analysis, design and development of
requirements in collaboration with
customers, business analysts and
software partners with main focus on
Avaloq Front Platform development
• Analysis and processing of customer
inquiries
• Collaboration and contribution in
projects across departments
• Preparation and execution of
workshops as a subject matter expert
• Analysis and maintenance of existing
functionality
• Code Review
• Update technical documentation
in close collaboration with business
analysts and technical writer

Your Profile
Education
• University degree in Computer
Science (ETH/University) or
equivalent experience
Professional Experience & Skills
• Sound knowledge in PL/SQL
programming and databases
• Exposure to Financial Markets
and understanding of financial
products is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem
solving skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Good command of English (both
verbal and written), knowledge of
German and/or French is an asset
• Willingness to travel
essential for banking
