Sentosa Island<br />

An island within an island? In fact, Sentosa Island is an<br />

island located just off the southern coast of Singapore. Drop<br />

by this beautiful island and spend at least a day here.<br />

Features a two km stretch of artificial, sheltered beach, the<br />

island has plenty of attractions suitable for all groups.<br />

Amongst the highlights are 4D Magix (a 4-dimensional<br />

theatre), the Songs of the Sea show, the Underwater World<br />

and Dolphin Lagoon. If panoramic views are what you yearn<br />

for, then head to the Tiger Sky Tower, Butterfly Park and Insect<br />

Kingdom. There is also the Jewel Cable Car Ride that can<br />

take you from Sentosa Island to Mount Faber on the mainland<br />

for a stunning view of the horizon from above.<br />

DAY 02<br />

Lau Pa Sat<br />

Lau Pa Sat<br />

Craving for some hawker food experience? Lau Pa Sat, also<br />

known as Telok Ayer Market, is a great starting point. Here,<br />

you will find a wide array of foods and snacks such as<br />

dumplings, prata, chicken rice, fish ball noodles and sizzling<br />

satay sticks. Be charmed by this beautiful historic building<br />

as you dig into the delicious dishes. And, do you know<br />

what’s best about this place? It is open 24 hours! So, you<br />

can head over here any time to your liking; whenever you<br />

feel like eating really!<br />

Universal Studios<br />

Being Asia’s only Hollywood theme park, Singapore’s<br />

Universal Studios will let you lose yourself in a magical world<br />

of movies with state-of-the-art rides that takes you through<br />

favourite Hollywood scenes such as Shrek, Jurassic Park and<br />

Revenge of the Mummy. Theme park aside, there are also<br />

loads of restaurants and food courts to choose and dine in<br />

at the Universal Studios.<br />

DAY 03<br />

Night Safari<br />

Looking for something to do in the evening? Visit the Night<br />

Safari, the world’s first wildlife park that you can visit at night.<br />

There is a guided tram ride that takes you through 40<br />

hectares of lush forests to see animals in their natural habitats.<br />

If you are feeling adventurous, you can also take on the<br />

guided walking trails to come up close to animals such as<br />

leopards, badgers and civets.<br />

Last but not least, the above is not an exhaustive list as to what you can do in Singapore.<br />

Don’t limit yourself though, keep exploring the roaring Lion City!<br />
