Which other countries besides
Malaysia do you consider home
and what particular destination
do you simply love revisiting?
Azura Zainal: Recife in Brazil, of course – thanks to my husband.
The weather is exactly like Malaysia except it’s not humid. My
must-go place at least once in every year would be Bali, Indonesia.
It is such a special place that I would
like to call it my second home! The
place just draws you in and accepts
you whole-heartedly!
Have you travelled
to a new
destination that
you would like to
revisit again?
Azura Zainal: Thanks to the show
'Fear Factor Malaysia' that I was a
part of, I get to go to one of my
dream countries which is South
Africa! Now, that is a place that I
would like to revisit and go on the
Safari and dive with the Great White
Sharks again (not in a cage this time)!
I love Japan too and will definitely
go back. Just like everyone else, I
do have a bucket-list of places to visit.

What services and facilities
do you find most appealing in
KLIA and klia2 and what is your
pre-boarding routine?
Azura Zainal: What I find most appealing are the ground
crews, they are so accommodating and helpful, both in
KLIA and klia2. I don’t really have a pre-boarding routine.
I just go wherever my legs would take me. Not a crazy
shopper, but I do like window shopping and there’s just
so much to see in KLIA.

What do you love most about
travelling and what has
globetrotting taught you?
Azura Zainal: Exploring new places, learning about its history
and most importantly being adventurous and getting lost! I am
adventurous when it comes to food. I would try almost anything
because I believe in knowing about a certain culture and country
through their food (provided that it is

halal). Reading about destinations and
actually being there to experience it first
hand is what I love most. With travelling,
I have learnt so many things. It made me
appreciate life and I am always humbled
by the experiences. I believe that every
individual should be able to travel and
see the world because it will definitely
change you for the better. What I really
want to do in the future is to bring some
of the under-privileged children to see the
world and putting forward my good
intentions to Mother Universe (I hope she
hears it).
It was
mentioned that
you can never
go anywhere
without music.
Is that true?
Azura Zainal: That’s absolutely
true! Music is my soul and I
will always have my music on.
With music, it can take me to
places and helps me to relax
while giving me ideas on what
I want to do on my travel.

Any future
travelling
plans?
Azura Zainal: This year I
foresee quite a bit of travelling
by starting things off with a
weekend trip with the family
to Perak and then go big. My
husband and I plan to visit
some friends in Gold Coast,
Australia and to Brazil again.
We are also thinking of visiting
some friends in Europe on our
way there too. If time permits,
I plan to visit my brothers in
the U.S.A. I really can’t wait
for all of these to happen!
