Enjoy a night of Wayang Kulit performances, a<br />

traditional puppet shadow play, at Dataran Medan<br />

Pasar to celebrate <strong>2016</strong>. Organised by ThinkCity<br />

and DBKL in partnership with LabDNA and PUSAKA,<br />

sponsored by CITI Foundation, it features Kumpulan<br />

Wayang Kulit Sri Warisan Pusaka of Machang,<br />

Kelantan. Plus an opening act by ACX Productions<br />

Wayang Nana and Ah Lu (Mandarin).<br />

The biggest festival for Hindus, after Deepavali,<br />

Thaipusam is observed as a day of thanksgiving<br />

and paying penance to Lord Murugan. Open to<br />

Power Station Concert<br />

Venue: Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands<br />

Power Station is a Taiwanese rock duo, consists of Yu<br />

Chiu-Hsin and Yen Chih-Lin. Active as a group since<br />

1997, they are arguably the most enduring and<br />

popular rock group in Asia with hit songs such as<br />

"When" and "Rainbow". Power Station’s Next Station<br />

World Tour Part II is definitely not to be missed.<br />

Ballet Festival – Romeo & Juliet<br />

Date: 15 – 17 January <strong>2016</strong><br />

Venue: Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra,<br />

Kuala Lumpur<br />

Brought to life by the MPO and Stars of the<br />

Moscow Ballet, Prokofiev’s full-length ballet score<br />

powerfully depicts the tragedy of Shakespeare’s<br />

immortal drama Romeo & Juliet. The music involved<br />

contains a wealth of memorable themes and<br />

passionate lyricism.<br />
