1 ) Kokonaisliittymämäärä sisältää perinteisten kiinteiden puhelinliittymien lisäksi myös ISDN-liittymät kanaviksi muutettuna (perusliittymät kerrotaan kertoimella kaksi ja
järjestelmäliittymät kertoimella 30, vuonna 2001 kertoimella 25). Kokonaismäärä sisältää niin kotitalouksien liittymät ml. vapaa-ajan liittymät kuin yritysten ja
yhteisöjen käytössä olevat liittymät sekä yleisöpuhelinliittymät – Totalantalet omfattar utöver traditionella fasta telefonabonnemang också ISDN-abonnemang som
ändrats till kanaler (basabonnemang multipliceras med koefficienten två och primärabonnemang med koefficienten 30, år 2001 med 25). Totalantalet innehåller såväl
hushållens abonnemang, inkl. fritidsabonnemang, som företagens och samfundens abonnemang och abonnemang för telefonautomater – The total number of
subscriptions includes besides conventional fixed telephone subscriptions ISDN subscriptions converted into channels (basic rate access is multiplied by the factor 2 and
primary rate access by the factor 30, in 2001 by the factor 25). The total number contains both households' subscriptions and leisure subscriptions and subscriptions used
by enterprises and corporations and public telephone subscriptions.

3 ) Analoginen matkapuhelinjärjestelmä lakkautettiin vuoden 2002 loppuun mennessä – Det analoga mobiltelefonsystemet lades ned före utgången av år 2002 – Analogue
mobile telephone system was abandoned by the end of 2002.
