This Level 1 course will introduce<br />
you to the introductory principals<br />
of business administration. You will<br />
study a wide range of units and<br />
topics which will help to develop<br />
your knowledge and understanding<br />
of the business world as well as<br />
develop your employability skills.<br />
This course will develop your skills<br />
in business administration such as<br />
how to create business documents<br />
and, how to record business<br />
transactions.<br />
For those on a study programme<br />
(16-18 years old). You will also study<br />
English, maths and complete at<br />
least 5 days of work experience.<br />
In addition you will be given<br />
enrichment opportunities as part of<br />

Ethics. This will give you a good<br />
rounded understanding of business<br />
in preparation for progression onto<br />
a Level 3 course.<br />
This is an ideal foundation for those<br />
wishing to enter the workplace or<br />
for those who wish to progress<br />
to HE, providing them with a<br />
theoretical background reinforced<br />
with practical skills that transfer<br />
into the modern workplace.<br />

administrative skills in preparation<br />
to work within a professional<br />
business environment.<br />
You will develop these skills<br />
through a range of activities and<br />
assignment tasks. You will study a<br />
range of subjects such as written<br />
business communication, teamwork<br />
in administration, how to organise<br />
meetings, how to communicate<br />
with customers, how to organise<br />
a business event, how to support<br />
recruitment and selection within<br />
a business, how to work within an<br />
administration department, how to<br />
develop your verbal communication<br />
within business and how to plan<br />
your career in administration.<br />
