This course allows candidates to
learn, develop and practice the skills

career progression in carpentry or
joinery. It covers producing basic
woodworking joints and safely using
various hand and power tools.
The course consists of a substantial
core programme of study (carpentry
& joinery), combined with Maths,
English and any additional learning
or work experience.

It covers preparing background
surfaces and plastering materials,
applying scratch, floating and
setting coats including fixing sheet
materials.

Level 1 Diploma is designed for
people who want enter into the
construction industry and is ideal
for anyone who wants to pursue a
career in plumbing installations. It
has been specifically developed for
