Syke Walk and Talk Group with Cutgate meet every Tuesday at
10.00 am outside the Doctor's Surgery on Cutgate Precinct. The
walks are free and open to everyone. All abilities catered for.
All walks are sponsored by the Clinical Commission Group
formerly, Walking for Health, run by the NHS.
Springhill Hospice Events
Summer Serenade – 23rd July 6pm for 6.30pm
Sit back, relax in our award winning Hospice grounds and take in
the evening sunshine, whilst listening to beautiful music at our
annual Summer Serenade. July 23rd will see our lawns laden
with supporters on deck chairs and picnic blankets, full hampers at
their sides listening to the voices and music of The Greater All monies raised will go to the national Changing Someone's

Open Garden - Sunday 7th August
We are very proud of our Hospice Gardens so please come and
have a look round, you won’t be disappointed. Refreshments
available, 11am – 3pm at Springhill Hospice.

winning photographs and a chance to see just how beautiful our

Friends of Rochdale Art Gallery, Touchstones, The
Esplanade Rochdale – Tuesday 12th July
The next event will be held on Tuesday 12th July from 12.15-1.45
(speaker from 12.45). Douglas Jackson, who has written a book
about Joseph Briggs & Tiffany Glass, will talk about the collection
in the Haworth Gallery (Accrington).
£3 members, £4 visitors including tea, coffee and biscuits.
Rochdale Family Fun Day at Springfield Park - Sunday 17
July 2016
Rochdale's biggest park will be turned into a fairground with a
grand marquee, outdoor stage, food court and a souk style
selection of stalls on Sunday 17th July from 12pm until 7pm.
There will be something for all the family including: Lazer Tag, Go-
Karts, Birds-of-prey, Animal Feeding, Donkey Rides, Face painting
and Henna.
World campaign, to help raise awareness about hunger in the
world and raise £250,000 to feed people in the UK and abroad.
The event will take place at Springfield Park, Rochdale, OL11 4RE
and entry will be free.
