Starting from their domestic<br />

market, Mondo<br />

TV is working alongside<br />

RAI Fiction on the brand<br />

new TV series Treasure<br />

Island which comprises<br />

26 x 26’ episodes in CGI<br />

Full HD. This is based on R.<br />

L. Stevenson’s famous book and,<br />

in a more up to date way, tells the<br />

story of Jim Hawkins and his incredible<br />

adventures looking for treasure.<br />

The subject of pirates is always very<br />

topical and appealing to children. This<br />

is a classic tale, mainly male oriented,<br />

which has huge potential in terms of<br />

both a toy line and a licensing and<br />

merchandising roll-out. The series will<br />

be ready to hit markets from Fall 2016<br />

HD with a further 26 brand new episodes<br />

currently in production. The series<br />

launched in Fall 2015 in Italy airing<br />

on Cartoonito and has 7/7 broadcasting.<br />

The first season was also distributed<br />

worldwide with a great success<br />

covering more than 30 countries including<br />

Boing in France, Canal Panda<br />

in Portugal, Gulli in Russia, RTM in Malaysia<br />

with additional coverage in Thailand,<br />

Taiwan, VTV Vietnam and many<br />

more. By the end of 2016 Sissi will<br />

make her debut in China. As a result of<br />

the 52 total episodes that will shortly<br />

be available, Mondo TV will be able to<br />

create a long lasting licensing program<br />

which has already successfully begun<br />

with Italian and European licensees<br />

onboard. Sissi is now becoming<br />

a worldwide phenomenon and<br />

Mondo TV is supporting the<br />

brand with a large amount of<br />

marketing activities, press releases,<br />

events and promos.<br />

Moving towards Asia, two years<br />

and will debut on air<br />

in Italy as the World<br />

Premiere. At the same<br />

time Mondo’s licensing<br />

and merchandising<br />

division will start to<br />

create an integrated<br />

licensing program. International<br />

sales activities<br />

will follow.<br />

A further important<br />

project for the company<br />

is the development<br />

of the second<br />

season of Sissi, The<br />

Young Empress.<br />

The series currently<br />

comprises 26 x 26’<br />

episodes in 2D Full<br />

ago saw Mondo TV and Aurora World<br />

Corp finalise a new partnership. Two<br />

major TV projects are currently under<br />

production.<br />

The first is Yoohoo & Friends (52<br />

x 13’ episodes in full HD CGI). This<br />

is based on the plush line created by<br />

Aurora who have sold more than 35<br />

million units since the launch in 2007.<br />

The series features rare or endangered<br />

animals around the world that<br />

deliver a green message in line with<br />

global trends on conservation of the<br />

natural world and surrounding habitats.<br />

The educational concept behind<br />

the high entertainment factor of the<br />

brand teaches important values such<br />

as friendship, adventure, exploration<br />
