sweet, yet fresh with the hazelnuts adding a welcoming crunch.
Next up, we tried the overnight pork belly with braised hispy
cabbage and apple and mustard sauce. Now I’m not usually a pork
lover, but this certainly changed my mind. The meat couldn’t have
been better. It was cooked to perfection and quite literally melted
in your mouth. The sweetness of
menu will only
weeks before
we change it
again.”
the warm apple chunks and seasonal
vegetables made for a really pleasing
dish. The second of the main dishes
was pressed and charred lamb
breast, glazed with honey and served
on a bed of autumnal root veggies.
The meat fell away from the bone
and was packed full of flavour.
We certainly didn’t need a dessert
but we just couldn’t say no to the
Malteser ice cream with hot chocolate pouring sauce. It was a
sweet ending which didn’t leave us feeling over fed. All in all, if
you’re looking for a chilled vibe with quality food, you should most
certainly make a trip to The Pint Shop. We are looking forward to
heading back one evening and seeing what their drinks menu has
to offer…
