Happy Hour - Trinity Hall Pub Article and photos by Monda Hanna Irish, Irish, Irish, that was our theme as our Maverick group descended through Dallas traffic to Trinity Hall Pub at Mockingbird Station. Not only did our group enjoy, Irish stew, bangers and mash, as well as shepherd’s pie, Alan and Linda Bambina, had just returned from Savannah, where Porsche Parade was held. They said it was a wonderful time, visiting with friends old and new. Mike and Judy Brodigan, shared their stories of their past travels to Dublin Ireland. Mike and Alan even had Irish shirts on from their travels, see Mike’s in the picture. We had new members join us, Steve and Carol Locke, they have a Porsche 997. A warm welcome to them and we hope to see you again at one of our events. One of our Maverick member, Bob Aines, has purchased a Black 964 and is modifying it at his race shop in North Carolina. Bob hopes to have it delivered soon. To all members, new old and in between, if you have hesitated to join one of our events, our Happy Hours are the best place to stick your toe in the waters. We have members representing all areas of our club from Autocross and Time Trial, to Tours, DE events, Club Racing and even opportunities to join in preparing some incredible events for our 50th Anniversary. We will be celebrated it over the entirety of 2012. Many of our Club Racers are prepping their cars for the October 29 - 30th Club Race at Eagle’s Canyon. Events that have been in our newsletter lately that are for all of us certified Porsche nuts, include the RennSport Reunion IV held in Monterey, CA October 13 - 16 at Laguna Seca. Mark and I will be attending for the first time along with other Maverick members. I can’t wait! We have both been busy working and racing with Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing, so this should be fun.
