SPICEJET ||||| MILESTONES
Over the last
11 years,
SpiceJet has
stood out for
its on-board
celebrations.
This year, too, every occasion,
big and small, was celebrated
with warmth and love with
our passengers and employees.
DIWALI
SpiceJet celebrated Diwali by
promoting the ‘Make in India’
campaign. On 10 flights out of Delhi,
passengers were welcomed with a
tilak and a pack of diyas. Additional
crew were dressed in ethnic wear to
greet the passengers. All airport staff
were also dressed in ethnic wear, and
ticketing and check-in counters at all
airports were decorated with
marigolds.
REPUBLIC DAY
Passengers not only appreciated the
SpiceJet decorations at the airport, but
also loved the idea of having the ground
staff in traditional attire and flag pins,
and the crew in tri-colour stoles. Playing
the National Anthem on all Boeing
flights was also very well received.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S
DAY
SpiceJet celebrated by taking 20 women
on a day trip aboard SpiceJet’s all-women
crew Delhi-Bengaluru-Delhi flight to
Art of Living’s Bengaluru centre.
HOLI
SpiceJet celebrated Holi in its own
signature style. Passengers were
welcomed with a chandan tilak and
their seats were decked with
colourful scarves. The airline also
distributed waterless Holi stickers to
commemorate the festival. SpiceJet
also surprised its passengers by
orchestrating a flash mob at Terminal
1 departure lounge, IGI Delhi Airport
and at Cyber Hub, a popular hangout
destination in Gurgaon.
VALENTINE’S DAY
SpiceJet celebrated the day of love
mid-air. Crew members welcomed
passengers with a rose and also
presented newlyweds with heartshaped
cakes, which were cut onboard.
INDEPENDENCE DAY
All passengers flying with SpiceJet
under the fare of Indian Armed Forces
were offered a meal and beverage at no
added cost. The airline also placed the
tri-colour on the bulk heads of its Boeing
737 aircraft.
