by the international Rebel Rebel orchestra, Jan
Feat, Łukasz L.U.C. Rostkowski and the Kraków
Representative Orchestra of the AGH University
of Science and Technology. Under the baton of the
composer and performer Feat, musicians not only
took care of the musical part of the final match – in
the culmination point of the evening, they played the
composer’s Symphony no. 6 along with thousands
of fans by means of their air horns.
The closing ceremony smoothly switched to the
Medal Ceremony. The first national team that entered
the podium was Croatia, which defeated Norway in
the 3rd place match. After them, silver medals were
received by the Spanish team and, eventually, gold
medals were awarded to Germans. During the medal
ceremony, music arrangement was performed by
the Polish Radio Choir and the Orchestra of the AGH
University of Science and Technology. The masters
of ceremony were Maciej Dowbor and Edit Szalay.
