Dakota, from a rescue that I found out
about rescue groups. From that point on
I knew that was something I wanted to be
involved with.
Q: If you could change one thing about
your RC position or ARPH in general,
what would it be?
A: I'd like us to be able to have funding for
kenneling dogs so we can take the pressure
off Rescue Representatives when there is
no foster space available.
Q: What do you lookforward to in ARPH's
future?
A: I hope that one day we will have enough
volunteers to makes this job less stressful
and that we will all be able to handle
smaller geographical areas.
Q: Would you like to include a requestfor
volunteers in your area?
A: Absolutely, the NY/CT area that I cover
is seeing moreAussies than ever before and
we are desperate for more foster homes.
In conclusion, our Rocs and ARCs
are devoted volunteers, giving their time
and expertise to ARPH and to the dogs
they save. Without their generous gifts
to this organization, fewer volunteers and
dogs would receive the benefits they so
deserve.
In spite of the selfless service of all
our volunteers, there are always more
dogs than we can help, simply because we
lack enough manpower. Please consider
volunteering your time and expertise,
or making a donation. Visit http://
www.aussierescue.org for information on
volunteering or donating. No amount of
time or moneyis too small, and theAussies
are counting on you for help.
ARPH Bids Farewell to President
Cralg Bohren
After five years as president
of ARPH I am stepping down.
The time has come—perhaps is
overdue—for some new blood in
the administration. My thanks to all
the ARPH volunteers with whom I
have workedduring thesefive years.
Their dedication and hard work has
made ARPH what it is today.
