history books of the Nigerian<br />
Entertainment Industry.<br />
Laden with activities,<br />
scandal, revelations, break<br />
ups, surprises, deaths,<br />
births....rebirths, and of<br />
cause a good dose ‘unrivaled’<br />
artistry and brilliance;<br />
activities of last year will not<br />
leave our lips any time soon.<br />
The Nigerian industry has<br />
never lacked talents nor<br />
shied away from the limelight<br />
and 2016 was no exception.<br />
What a year it was? From<br />
Tiwa Savage’s marital<br />
turbulence to wizkid’s<br />
international ‘initiation’,<br />
from the Lil Kesh/Olamide<br />
‘divorce’ to Iyanya’s<br />
‘marriage’ to Don Jazzy and<br />
the Mavin Family....the year<br />
saw it all.<br />
In all of this, this is our TOP<br />

Yemi Alade<br />
On No. 10 we have the ‘Jonny’<br />
crooner Yemi Alade. It was a good<br />
year for Yemi who got nominated<br />
for a BET Awards, and although<br />
she didn’t get to clinch the award,<br />
she scored tops on the red carpet<br />
with a Zuhair Murad‘s 2016 Resort<br />
Collection reportedly costing her<br />
approximately N2.5m. You Go Girl!!!<br />
No doubt a talented workaholic, she<br />
also won a MAMA for the Best Female<br />
Act in Africa.<br />

Mr. Eazi<br />
This Mr Eazi sef, this guy<br />
has slowly crept into the<br />
heart of the Nigerian Music<br />
Industry and yes! He did<br />
it all the way from Ghana.<br />
With very little hype, Mr<br />
Eazi worked his way up the<br />
ranks with nothing but good<br />
discipline and pure artistry.<br />
His understanding and<br />
interpretation of Highlife<br />
fused with hip-hop has<br />
worked wonders and<br />
successful collaborations<br />
with Eugy, IllBliss, Reminisce,<br />
Solidstar, Del’B, Rayce, Shatta<br />
Wale, DJ Neptune, DJ Spinall,<br />
Terry G, Lil Kesh, Phyno, Jeed<br />
Rogers, Ko-Jo Cue, Sarkodie,<br />
PhizBarz, Sheunakamura and<br />
many others attests to his<br />
qualities.<br />
With his trade-mark raffia<br />
woven hat, Mr Eazi sure knows<br />
how to make music lovers.
