What are your favourite
fashion and beauty items?
I don’t have a favourite
fashion item. I love fashion
way too much to pick one; as
for beauty, I am addicted to
coconut oil.
What’s your favourite
thing to do while on
vacation?
Sleeping.
You had a single “Survive”
earlier this year. How soon
should we expect another?
I will be shooting a new
video for my new single
called “Let Me Love You”. I
have a couple of tricks up my
sleeves with music and I’m
extremely excited. I promise
not to keep you waiting too
long.
What’s your take on the
Nigerian fashion industry
and how it’s being
projected to the world?
The fashion industry has
definitely gone global. We
aren’t on the side-lines
anymore and African culture
is being accepted all over
the world; from Beyoncé
wearing our very own
Nigerian designers to having
our fashion week. We are
becoming global influencers.
Do you think Nigerian
bands are over-priced and
why?
Not at all. Compared to our
international counterparts,
we are not over-priced.
The fact that these designs
are hand-made and not
mass produced requires a
high level of detailing and
creativity.
What’s the philosophy
behind your blog?
To make everyone know
she’s powerful.
How would you describe
yourself fashion wise? Are
you extravagant or classic?
Fashion wise, I’ll say I’m
expressive; one minute, I can
be bold, fun or fierce. I love
to be myself in every area of
my life; it isn’t any different
with fashion
What risk wouldn’t you
take in the name of
fashion?
I will never go naked
or wear anything that
misrepresents me as a
person.
