The 9th ECM of the Karayogam was held at 4.00 pm on<br />
4th March 2017 at our Karayogam office which was a<br />
joint sitting with Panchami and Dhawani presided over<br />
by Karayogam Vice President Sri.C.Vijaya Kumar in the<br />
absence of President Sri.Viswanathan Nair. Mr.Vijaya<br />
Kumar his happiness in presiding over the meeting and<br />
extended a warm welcome to all the office bearers, EC<br />
Members and Board members. The meeting started with<br />
prayer, Acharya Vandanam and one minute silent prayer for<br />
the departed soul of Sri Unni Nair, father of our member Sri.<br />
Sudheesh. Secretary Sri.Sundaran presented the minutes of<br />
the previous meeting. Mr.Ravi, Board Member briefed the<br />
Board matters. Pongala Mahotsava: This ECM can be called<br />
as a Pongala meeting because main agenda of the meeting<br />
was Pongala only. It discussed about Pongala arrangements,<br />
distribution of responsibilities, sale and collection of<br />
coupons. Accordingly the Pongala kits were arranged. The<br />
house decided to make the function in a well planned manner<br />
facilitating devotees to get maximum satisfaction. It should<br />
be a grand success in every aspect. The meeting concluded<br />
with vote of thanks followed by small refreshments.<br />
UDUPI<br />
Karayogam monthly Executive committee meeting was<br />
held at hotel Woodlands at 5:30 PM on 12.3.2017 Sunday.<br />
President Sri Narayanan Nambiar presided over the<br />
meeting and welcomed the gathering. Sree Ramanavami<br />
Ratha Yatra 2017 , which will get started from Kollur will<br />
reach Sri Krishna Mutt Udupi on 17th March and it will be<br />
honoured by all Udupi Karayogam and its family members<br />
.Monthly accounts and reports were discussed and passed<br />
by committee members. Other Karayogam related matters<br />
were discussed and meeting was concluded with vote of<br />
thanks by Sri Ravindran Nair, Secretary, followed by hi-tea.<br />
VIJAYANAGAR<br />
The 10th E C Meeting was held on 12-3-2017 at 10-30 am<br />
at Karayogam Office with Silent Prayer and President Sri.<br />
T K K Nair presided over the meeting. The EC confirmed<br />
the minutes of the 9th meeting held on 12-2-2017. The EC<br />
also approved receipt of payment of account for the month<br />
of February 2017. The EC decided to call all Youth Wing<br />
members, for the meeting which will be held on 19th March<br />
at 10 am at our Karayogam Office. The EC decided to<br />
conduct Karayogam Silver Jubilee, named “Vijayolsavam”<br />
on 20th August 2017. Venue and programme will be decided<br />
later. The EC took up for consideration of the letter written<br />
by Sri K.G Shankar to all Karayogam Presidents about<br />
Auriga Project. Mr. G. K Kurup stated that the Chairman had<br />
clarified the matter paragraph wise in the last Office Bearers<br />
meeting. The committee was of view that the matter should<br />
be clarified in the Board meeting to make the position very<br />
clear. EC has approved one new membership, Miss. Jayasree<br />
Narayanan recommended by Secretary. Board Matters:<br />
Mr. G K Kurup informed that the next Board Meeting<br />
will be held on 26th March 2017 at Sheshadripuram. The<br />
meeting ended after the vote of thanks by the Treasurer Sri.<br />
