Risk management, fire and health and safety compliance
Health and safety legislation places duties on Landlords
and RMC Directors where members of the Board
have both collective and individual responsibilities for
health & safety. At Braemar Estates, we take health &
safety very seriously. We understand the importance
of full compliance to protect everybody involved at the
development, from residents and people visiting or
working within the development, as well as your interests
as directors.
To help monitor and manage risk in a more efficient,
effective and compliant manner, we’ve introduced a new
cloud based Health & Safety management system called
Meridian. Meridian has a direct link to our insurance
underwriters and has been designed to reduce risk at each
development under management.
From Meridian we will report on the key information you
will need to ensure compliance and this will range from
periodic maintenance through to thorough insurance
inspections (as required by law) of items such as lifts,
BMU/Access cradles and /or anchorage points if applicable,
emergency lighting testing, vehicle gate maintenance,
water hygiene monitoring as well as your fire and general
risk assessments to give examples.
