your experiences (crucibles). How do personal values become apparent in an organization?<br />

• What did you see there related to the Why, How, and What of Chipotle.<br />
• What is Chipotle’s Why?<br />
• How do they achieve and further this?<br />
• How do they prove it?<br />
• What would happen if their how and what were not in sync with their stated Why?<br />
• Would you still feel the same way about Chipotle? Would you still spend your money<br />
there? Why or Why not?<br />
This provides a great example of how being clear about your why, having the discipline to<br />
stick to your how and ensuring that your What proves your Why can develop loyalty and<br />
inspiration to a company, organization, and brand.<br />

Thinking about Simon Sinek’s video we watched earlier - What is Apple’s why?<br />
- What does Apple do?<br />
- How does Apple do it?<br />
- Why does Apple do it? What is Apple’s purpose?<br />
We are going to ask you to spend some time in reflection on page 15 of your workbook.<br />
During this time, we want you to respond to the prompts included there while thinking about<br />
our conversation this morning as well as the work that we have done up until this point.<br />
• What is your personal Why?<br />
• How do you achieve it? How do you demonstrate it?<br />
• How are we proving it? What are we doing that does not prove it?<br />
• How could we do a better job of proving it?<br />
