CANNES
YOU NOT?!
It was all about
white, blush and
blondes for Elle
Fanning, Nic and
Kirsten Dunst at
for their film
The Beguiled
It turns out Cannes fashion is
about 85 per cent glamorous,
15 per cent garish fun! Case
in point – Salma’s ’70s-style
pyjama-esque co-ord, Emma’s
Hilary Clinton-inspired
yellow blazer and Andie’s
oversized bow. Our eyes!
With four films to promote, and countless red carpet outfits
to showcase, it’s no wonder Nicole Kidman was dubbed this
year’s “queen of Cannes”. The actress went from a tulle-andsequins
Rodarte keyhole gown to a Calvin Klein tutu (which
took 150 hours to make!), a sophisticated black Versace
dress, and a bohemian Armani Prive number – to name just
a few. We’re exhausted just thinking about all those costume
changes! Let’s hope she had some designer PJs and
slippers waiting for her at the end of each night...
Jeremy Meeks
spotted taking a stroll around
Cannes, displaying an impressive
collection of tatts... Just in case we
didn’t already know he was a bad
boy! Robert Pattinson (top) looked
dapper as always, while Josh
Hartnett (above) got back in the
spotlight for the first time in yonks!
Cocaine use at Cannes was nothing to sniff at this year – with
sources
revealing celebs were on a major, um, blowout!
“The drug’s use has got out of control,” an insider tells the UK’s
Sun newspaper. “Everybody is doing it and the police are finding
it extremely hard to manage. It’s a nightmare.”
According to reports, the city’s police have been distracted by
more pressing problems like terrorism and security breaches, so
other forms of crime – like drug use – are going unenforced.
“It is more popular than ever,” a VIP concierge at a luxe Cannes
hotel told the newspaper, which detected cocaine residue in bathrooms
at several five-star hotels during the festival.
“Dealers make over £25,000 [$44,000] a night and are often sold
out by day four. So if you want drugs you have to get in quick.”
Er, we think we’ll just say no actually...
