This week, my journey
to adulthood continues...
In case you haven’t been reading my
letter every week (how dare you!), I’m
not the greatest when it comes to actual
adult life skills. In fact, I’m hopeless.
While the stars are getting engaged
(congrats, Tim and Anna!), having
babies (page 34) and getting major
makeovers (check out Keira Maguire’s
new look on page 28), I’m just here
taking baby steps towards being a
grown-up. This week’s milestones...
Adult thing #1 – buying linen.
Actually, I didn’t just buy it, I completely
binged on it in the recent Click Frenzy
bought sheets and towels (where they
all came from before, I have no idea!),
but I’m now fully obsessed.
Adult thing #2 – cooking dinner.
I ate in every night this week and, yep,
you can call me the new Jamie Oliver.
Adult thing #3 – while all the
NW-ettes headed out to party on
Friday night, I went to a literary “talk”
at the Sydney Writers’ Festival. Yep,
a “talk”. A proper adult “talk”.
on the couch this weekend, watching
13 Reasons Why and acting like the
15-year-old I actually am.

finally engaged!
With Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski pushing back their European
wedding plans now that they’re expecting, Tim Robards and Anna
Heinrich could be the first Aussie Bachelor lovers to walk down the aisle,
after he finally popped the question! ’Bout time, mate!
The OG Bachie, 34, announced the exciting news on Instagram last week,
writing, “LOVE made me do it! On the weekend... in a little dinghy... floating on
a secluded river... I asked this amazing woman to marry me... she said YES!!!”
The blushing bride-to-be, 30, couldn’t hide her excitement either,
’gramming, “Officially forever #ENGAGED.”
Aw! We look forward to getting our engagement party invites, you two!
