celebrated those who served the company 10 years,
20 years and those who were about to retire during
its 15th Service Awards Presentation Ceremony.
This year, 525 employees were eligible for the Service
Awards. Of that number, 53 recipients were in the 20
years category, 472 recipients were in the 10 years
category while the remaining were soon to be retiring
employees.
Recipients of the 10 years and 20 years of service
received a certificate of appreciation and Bank
Simpanan Nasional (BSN) Premium Savings certificates.
During the event, Malaysia Airports Chairman, Tan Sri
Dato' Sri Wan Abdul Aziz Wan Abdullah expressed
his gratitude to the recipients for their loyalty and
commitment for their work with the company and
added that Malaysia Airports would have not been
successful today without the dedication and hard
work from each of its employees.
He said, "I would like to express our thanks and
appreciation to the staff of Malaysia Airports, who
have always been loyal and dedicated to this company.
Malaysia Airports is very fortunate to have employees
who are committed in ensuring continous success for
the company. The company's performance is a result of
various collaborations and hard work from all of you."
Wan Abdul Aziz added that the company ensures its
employees wellbeing with various initiatives that spur
excellence among its employees. "Malaysia Airports
is constantly creating programmes or initiatives that
will lead to excellence within employees. This is also
a sign of appreciation from the company wishing to
highlight its dedicated workers. For example, as a
token of appreciation for the efforts and contributions
of our employees, bonus payments for 2016 were
paid by the company based on the ability of the
company. In addition, the company has also agreed
on a new salary structure for all non-executive grade
employees. This new salary structure is the best in
the country when compared with other governmentlinked
companies."
