Re-homing Pets
Can you offer a home to any of our featured pets?
Norman - 2 year-old cat
Norman came into the branch as a stray
and is looking to find his “forever” family.
He’s a shy, quiet cat who likes head rubs
and is looking for a nice quiet home that
Norman has no children or any other pets.
Connor - 2 year-old domestic short-hair
Connor is a big cat who will want outdoor access in his new
home, and has been used to living with other cats in the
past. He will gain confidence in his new home with lots of
loving care.
Meatball – male Syrian
hamster
Meatball is very inquisitive and loves seeing what’s
Meatball
going on around him. He is a cheeky boy who is happy
to say hello but is not used to being handled so would like a patient
owner who will not fuss over him too much and allow him time to come
out of his shell. Meatball would love a big cage with lots of tunnels and
bridges for him to explore!
Apollo
Apollo – male milk snake
Apollo is a young milk snake who is full of life. He enjoys
spending time exploring outwith his vivarium. Due to his
age, Apollo would make a fantastic first snake for someone
as he is so well handled. He’s looking for a home in which his new owner
can spend lots of time with him to ensure he stays well socialised.
Roxy – 8+ year-old female
crossbreed
Roxy is a really sweet and lively older
girl. She is looking for a quiet retirement
home where she can lap up all the attention she
Roxy
has missed from home life. She loves to be in the
company of people and is looking for a home with older children. She
does get on with other dogs but needs careful introductions as she is
rather noisy when she sees them. For this reason we would like her
to go to an area where there aren’t many dogs around so she doesn’t
get frustrated. Having some experience of owning a dog is required
because of this. She would love a garden to potter in which should be
secure with a 4ft fence. Roxy will need to meet her new owners a few
times before she can go home.
Spiderman – 5 to 7 year-old man Lurcher
Spiderman is a really sweet boy who just loves people!
He loves leaning in for a scratch behind the ear or the
base of his tail and even does a little tip toe dance if
you get the right spot. He is pretty strong so will need
Spiderman
someone who can physically manage him on a walk.
There is limited history on Spiderman as he came from a stray pound.
He is looking to live in a home with children over 10 years old due to his
big bouncy nature. He would benefit from living in a home with people
who have owned sight hounds before and are happy to continue his
training. He needs careful introduction to any new doggy friends and
couldn’t live with any other small pets such as cats. Spiderman would
prefer to have someone around most of the day to settle him in, he may
be left for a couple hours at a time after he has started to settle in. It
would be best to meet a few times before he goes to his new home.
