A Casino Where Nobody Loses
Raising funds is an ongoing process for us at Brighter
Bridge of Weir. When we can, we like to do it in a way
that entertains, and so we have our annual Fun Casino
night, where people can donate by having a great
night out! We could call it fun-raising.
This year it’s on September 30th at the British Legion
Club in Livery Walk, as usual, and hosted by the fabulous
Pink Cocktails, also as usual. Doors open 7.30 pm. If you
haven’t been before, do try to come along - you’ll love it! It costs £5 to get
in, and for that you also get a casino chip to play on one of the roulette or
blackjack tables. You have the opportunity to buy ‘fun money’ which you
can exchange for more chips (that’s how we raise the funds). You can buy
as many or as few as you wish. At the end of the night the person with the
highest value of casino chips wins a prize. There are also prizes for second
and third places. And of course, there will be a raffle with prizes too.
There are more details of how it works and pictures of past nights on
previous Facebook posts (facebook.com/brighterbridgeofweir) and on our
web site www.brighterbridgeofweir.org.
