VINAGORA TASTE OF HUNGARY IS A
SPECIAL PROGRAMME INCLUDING

SIGNIFICANT GRAPE VARIETIES AND
WINE STYLES THROUGH HIGHLY
SELECTED WINES.THIS PROGRAMME IS
ESPECIALLY FOR BUT NOT LIMITED TO
FOREIGN VISITORS. EVERYONE WHO
LOOKS FOR CLUE, WHICH WINE TO
TASTE OR SIMPLY JUST WOULD LIKE TO
TASTE THE BEST AMONG THE BESTS CAN
DELIGHT IN THE BEAUTY OF HUNGARIAN
WINES.
The more than 200 exhibiting wineries cover all
the wine regions of the country and almost all of
the Hungarian grape varieties. It was not easy to
collect those items which are most appropriate
to show Hungary’s main wine types.
First of all we enumerated Hungary’s most important
grape varieties and flagship wines, from
white wines through red wines to dessert wines.
Secondly we examined the results of VinAgora
International Wine Competition which is Hungary’s
greatest and most prestigious wine contest
then we chose one or two wines from every type
and style which was at least silver medalist at VinAgora.
That is how VinAgora Taste of Hungary elite section
was created to be worthy of representig
Hungary’s outstanding wines. If you are interested
in an exemplary Tokaji Aszú, Szekszárdi and
Egri Bikavér, Villányi Franc or a lovely Furmint or
rosé, stop searching because the strictly selected
award winning wines of the programme will not
dissapoint you for sure!
