Highlights for 2016-2017
Beginning with 2016 June’s DNA 3 conference call meeting, members were hard at work submitting
nominations for office of president, and secretary.
Three (3) DNA 3 members are actively engaged with the 113th Annual MNA Convention Committee,
helping to make this year a very memorable year.
Cindy Bennoit’s mom has graciously volunteered to make 2 baskets for our district’s contribution to
door prizes for the convention.
DNA 3 offers a Convention scholarship nurse applicant who is attending for the first time, hoping to
encourage new membership. The winner for 2016 was Alihu Adeleke, a new member for us. He is
currently working on his masters in information technology.
On November 15, 2016, DNA 3 held their Annual Business at the Blue Dolphin Bar and Grill in
Gambrills, MD, with 12 in attendance. Alihu Adeleke was able to attend tonight. The main focus
of the meeting was to confirm the newly elected officers by a vote. Officers were approved
unanimously. New officers include Donna Downing-Corddry, president; Deanna Leone, secretary;
