TRIP TO TE<br />
PUEA MARAE<br />
My name is Zahra Hussaini. I’m a Year<br />
10 student at Mangere College, which<br />
is a very good school with very kind<br />
teachers.<br />
They do their best to help us learn what they teach<br />
us. Let me tell you something about the trip yesterday<br />
that I went on with my teachers and my classmates.<br />
Yesterday we went to Te Puea Marae with Ms Hay,<br />
Ms Tatafu and Ms Rosalie to meet the people who<br />
support homeless people. We took some flowers and<br />
vegetables to help them. When we got there, a man<br />
spoke to us about homeless people, how they live and<br />
what they do.<br />
After the talk, some of my Samoan friends sang a<br />
song. When we finished the visit, we went to Mangere<br />
Bridge Park to have our lunch. There we took some<br />
photos and played some games and we had lots of<br />
fun.<br />
