The Kristin School and<br />
Mangere College Music<br />
Exchange was another great<br />
success with selected music<br />
students from both schools<br />
participating.<br />
The students worked together well,<br />
rehearsing, learning new music together<br />
and within two hours presented a<br />
special performance in Kristin School's<br />
outdoor octagon.<br />
This is the third year of the exchange<br />
which has seen new and old friendships<br />
continue to develop. The students<br />
found inspiration in each other’s<br />
talents and shared new approaches<br />
to performance practice which was<br />
fantastic to see.<br />
The teachers involved were: Mr Opeloge<br />
Ah Sam (Kristin College), Mr Pearson<br />
(Mangere College).<br />
The students involved were: Tearataua<br />
Tavioni, Criss Papau, Mary A Va’afai,<br />
Sasa Lelenoa, Joeta Taituave Fuimaono<br />
and Tonga Palenapa.<br />
