Spring Is In The Air
Market Comment with Craig Prier
Well Spring has definitely sprung! After a steady winter our phones are now red hot with both
buyers and sellers deciding to make a move. In fact the last few years have shown us that
September through to November is traditionally one of the busiest parts of the year. And it’s
easy to see why. Warmer weather, longer days, blossoms and fresh growth on the trees, the
sound of lawnmowers and the tantalising smell of backyard bbq’s. Yes, it’s a great time
of year.
Add to the mix low interest rates and a city that is in full growth mode with low
unemployment and a positive outlook then it’s easy to understand why people want
to be part of it. Our open homes over the past few weeks have been incredibly busy.
Some of our agents are reporting dozens of buyers turning up to view either at open
homes or by private appointment. Well done to the property owners who have invested in
great marketing programmes. It certainly makes a difference with the type of response you can
expect and just goes to show, “you can’t sell a secret”. The owners who have taken the time to
prepare their property for sale, invested in great photography and marketing plans are certainly
getting the attention and results they deserve. It’s an important point when you are in competition
with other property listings. It’s good to give your property the best opportunity of being seen.
Talk to any of our agents today if you would like to find out more about how our marketing plans
will shine a spotlight on your property!
