Series 3000V units are available with 14:1, 21:1, or 6:1 dual-acting piston pumps.
Nordson 3000 units originally had a mechanical shifter assembly to operate the pump. Units sold prior to 1994
had this type of pump.
In 1994 Nordson introduced the SP pump to replace the mechanical shifter pumps. The patented SP pump has
a magnetic shifter that significantly reduces the possibility of the pump stalling. When you order a new, complete
pump assembly, you will receive the SP pump. You can still get repair components for the old-style mechanical
shifter pump.
