n August, we launched our redesigned<br />
external websites in the United States<br />
and Canada. Our teams close to the<br />
projects worked many months to<br />
make the new roberthalf.com and<br />
roberthalf.ca realities. But some of you may<br />
wonder why a change was even necessary.<br />
Whenever we design — or rethink — one<br />
of our technology tools, we start with two<br />
goals: to make it easier for you to find<br />
likely clients and candidates, and for them<br />
to find you.<br />
Businesses today really can’t afford not<br />
to offer online service options. Our tools<br />
let companies choose how they work with<br />
us. In fact, we are finding that most of<br />
the job orders we receive online come<br />
from people who have never worked with<br />
us before. That means we’re connecting<br />
with employers whom we might not have<br />
otherwise reached.<br />
OPENING A FAST LANE<br />
Our next goal is to provide the quickest<br />
and most targeted matches possible so that<br />
prospects become loyal customers. When<br />
our technology merges with our personal,<br />
consultative approach, it’s well beyond the<br />
scope of our competitors.<br />
Hiring managers can use Candidate<br />
Browsing to take advantage of improved<br />
matching technology that enables them to<br />
filter search results by distance, education,<br />
relevant skills and related keywords.<br />
It’s now easier than ever for employers<br />
to browse our anonymous candidate<br />
profiles at their convenience — and then<br />
submit a job order online or contact our<br />
professionals for more information.<br />
New features also help candidates. When<br />
they sign up for our job alerts, they can<br />
receive emails the moment we have jobs that<br />
match their qualifications. By early 2018,<br />
our new external websites should have rolled<br />
out in all countries where we have offices.<br />
POWERING PRODUCTIVITY<br />
The redesigned sites are only the newest of<br />
our continued investments in technology.<br />
Our strategy has never been about<br />
giving you one magic bullet that can do<br />
it all. Instead, we want you to rely on the<br />
cumulative power of all the tech tools at<br />
your disposal to help you make the most<br />
productive use of your time.<br />
Take Salesforce, which is now available in<br />
all of our locations worldwide. Performing<br />
your searches in Spotlight, for instance,<br />
can save you time. Because of the<br />
partnerships we’ve forged with job boards<br />
like CareerBuilder, Dice and Monster,<br />
you can easily and quickly locate ideal<br />
matches with a single Spotlight search. I<br />
encourage you to take advantage of its<br />
extra features, such as the Planner and<br />
Job Posting Writer, too.<br />
Making full use of our technology can help<br />
you play an important role in demonstrating<br />
to customers that they can’t get our kind of<br />
service anywhere else. Let’s make working<br />
with us so easy, efficient and results-oriented<br />
