Shari Nelson’s full-service scrapbooking, picture
video and digitization business, Memvio, is the only

“I feel that Memvio brings
an opportunity for our clients to

to generation,” Shari, who began
scrapbooking 32 years ago, said. “Scrapbooking at that
time was my hobby, my ‘me’ time. Once I got my five
kiddos to bed and had some quiet time, I would sit down
in my basement studio and become totally immersed
going down memory lane. Often, before I knew it, the
sun was coming up.”
Shari’s children’s scrapbooks have become treasures
shared, laughed and smiled over with friends, family
and significant others. Shari’s creative talents began to
gain notoriety and, eventually, she realized her clientele
often consisted of the busy working parent that had the
desire to enjoy their family photos, but no time to make
it happen.
“I received so many requests to scrapbook and create
photo montages that my hobby grew into a full-time
job,” Shari said.
From basement to brick-and-mortar
Shari’s business grew so large that she opened her
own store, located in Ballwin, in 2017.

team to create every Memvio project as perfect and
unique as possible,” Shari said.
Each customer is carefully matched with a designer,
who then interviews the client so the project can be
exactly tailored to their desires. The designers work
closely with the client, letting them be as involved with
or removed from the process as they wish. Clients can
be sent sample pages for approval, making sure they are
100-percent happy before moving forward, or choose to
be surprised.
“We have yet to have a customer who was not thrilled
with their product,” Shari noted.
