MISSISSIPPI NIGHTS REUNION
It was just an old bar – lots of brick
and wood and a stage on which local and
national talent played. But
to the Mississippi Nights
faithful, it was home –
someplace you returned to
time and time again.
On March 29, the old
gang’s getting back together
for a Mississippi Nights
Reunion at Delmar Hall,
6133 Delmar Blvd. in the
Loop.
Patrick Hagin, managing
partner of Delmar Hall, describes
that venue as “our version of Mississippi
Nights,” though he admits that it’s hard
“to replace that type of venue.”
“A lot of people met their spouses
there,” Hagin said. “It held a lot of great
memories.”
Still, for one night, Hagin
along with former employees
and a host of local
bands are going to try to
recreate the magic of Mississippi
Nights.
“It’s a reunion in the
truest sense – and a jam session,
that’s why we priced it
so low. We want everybody
to come.”
Tickets are $10 per person and can
be purchased online at delmarhall.com.
Doors open at 7 p.m. with the first band
taking the stage at 8 p.m.
An Adult Easter Egg Hunt is from 7-9
p.m. on Saturday, March 24 at Legion Park
Pavilion, 333 Bald Hill Road in Eureka.
Adults ages 21-plus can grab a flashlight
and basket and hunt for more than 1,000
prize-winning eggs. Light refreshments
provided. Participants can bring their own
food and beverages; no glass.

The City of Ellisville’s Easter Egg
Scramble is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March
24 at Bluebird Park, 225 Kiefer Creek
Road in Ellisville. Ages 1-9 can attend this
free event. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny available

a.m.-noon on Friday, March 30 at Farmers
& Merchants Bank, 619 Stockell Drive in
Eureka. Enjoy photos with the Easter
Bunny; a petting zoo from Arch Acres
Misfit Farms; and crafts and activities by
the St. Louis County Library.

An Underwater Egg Hunt is
from 7:30-8 p.m. on Friday, March 30 at
The Lodge Indoor Pool, 1050 Des Peres
Road in Des Peres. Kids ages 8-14 can grab
their swimsuit and goggles and get ready
to hunt underwater for eggs. Participants
can win prizes and candy. Registration

a.m. on Saturday, March 31 at Vlasis
Park, 300 Park Drive in Ballwin. The hunt
will be divided in sections for various ages.

The Lafayette Older Adults Program
meets from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on the
second and fourth Mondays of the month
at the Ballwin Golf Course, 333 Holloway
Road in Ballwin. The program is for
people 55 and older. After lunch, members
gather to play bingo or cards. Coffee, soda
and dessert are provided, but participants
must bring their own sack lunch.
