Ward 6 • Brian Rull
We must ensure the financial stability of
our municipal treasury. We need to seek out
new sources of federal and state funding so
we can afford to invest in modern technology
and infrastructure enhancements, such
as affordable and reliable high-speed data
networks. City property taxes are not an
option. We must hold ourselves accountable
to the city charter, the master plan, and
most importantly . . . our residents. Despite
the unique facets that divide our residents
and city council members by geographic
wards, we all share in a unified goal when
it comes to the success of Wildwood.
Ward 7 • Tim D. Woerther
Two years have seen the founding principles
of Wildwood compromised. Last year,
I was asked to run but I deferred, hoping
for a return to Wildwood principles. That
hasn’t happened and that is why I am running.
I pledge to ask residents opinions and
to listen and to continue the original Wildwood
vision of an engaged small government
that is fiscally conservative. I have a
record of an unwavering commitment to
the charter, master plan and Town Center
plan. I will return an uncompromising
commitment to high ethical values. Maintaining
the quality of life and community
that has become known as Wildwood.
Ward 7 • Jeffrey Levitt*
I want to continue to be a fair and honest
representative of the residents of Ward 7.
I want to find a citywide solution for the
here-today-dry-tomorrow Lake Chesterfield.
I want to continue economic development
within the city with a strict sense
of fiscal responsibility and adherence to
the city’s master plan. I believe the gem
of our parks collection is the Community
Park and it should be our priority in parks
spending until it is finished. I support continued
Hidden Valley operation.
Ward 8 • Rob Meinert
Plain and simple, I want to continue to
serve Ward 8 residents. To be of service to
others is in my DNA as is evident by my
life experiences, which allowed me to be
of service to others. My experience working
on two city council committees and
my recent appointment to Wildwood city
council really demonstrated the benefit I
could be to my fellow residents by being
engaged in local government. I want to
maintain that momentum. My priorities
have been and will continue to be following
the city charter and master plan.
Ward 8 • Niles Stephens
I am running for Ward 8 because I am
an active and engaged member of the community
who wants to change the culture
at Wildwood City Hall. Wildwood needs
people of high moral character to serve
on the council. With new leadership, our
2018/19 council meetings can be a better
reflection of the city we love. My top priorities
are: Creating a more vibrant community
by building support for a Village
Green in the Town Center; Commitment
to following the master plan in order to
preserve the beauty and uniqueness of
Wildwood; Conservative stewardship –
thorough review and follow-up to maintain
a responsible budget.
