lot of people have travel bucket lists and they usually include,<br />
potentially, life-changing adventures to faraway lands. Even<br />
though there is something alluring about the far-away, there<br />
is a lot to be said for spending quality time discovering your home<br />
city. Summer is fast approaching, and people are starting to share<br />
their different summer plans. I thought it would be a perfect time to<br />
share tips for exploring Jönköping, and finding the joy and adventure<br />
that could be found in your own backyard.<br />
1Take a historic tour<br />
Every other day you drive by, take<br />
the bus or walk past this building,<br />
statue or church. But do you actually<br />
know the name of it or the history<br />
behind? Jönköping, as you mayknow,<br />
is famous for being Sweden’s<br />
“Jerusalem”. Even if you are not<br />
into religion nor have a deep interest<br />
in history, I would definitely<br />
suggest you visit the Sofia churchduring<br />
Lucia. To experience one<br />
of this country’s oldest traditions<br />
in such a massive church is indeed<br />
a cool experience. Another place<br />
worth visiting is Tändsticksmuseet<br />
(located next to Akademien). There<br />
is no other product that has made<br />
Sweden, or Jönköping, more famous<br />
worldwide, than the safety match.<br />
Go out and explore! Take the time to<br />
learn about the history and secrets<br />
