GRADUATING?<br />
Now is the time to think about your future<br />

Graduating, the word so many<br />
young adults associate with freedom.<br />
But is it really freedom that<br />
derives when you graduate? Or is it more<br />
of an unknown future filled with responsibilities<br />
and tough life questions?<br />
There is no doubt that there are a lot of<br />
options after you graduate, whether it<br />
be from high school or from the university.<br />
Depending on your culture, country<br />
of origin, or what institution you are<br />
graduating from, there are different<br />
norms on what people actually do after<br />
they take their final exam. In Sweden,<br />
traveling for one year after graduating<br />
from high school is normal and very<br />
common. According to the Swedish<br />
Agency for Higher Education, in 2013, a<br />
total of 69 percent took a gap year between<br />
high school and university. Where<br />
in the USA only 2,2 percent of the class<br />
of 2015 took a gap year before continuing<br />
their studies (Quartz, 2016). Not one<br />
option is best for everyone, but having<br />
multiple options can make the process<br />
of graduation easier.<br />
