Dear students & alumni, The news<br />
has just reached us, JIBS<br />
managed to extend its EQ-<br />
UIS accreditation for another five years<br />
and thereby establishes its position as<br />
a top European Business School. This<br />
is a respected acknowledgement that<br />
JIBS master a high quality in both education<br />
and research. We all have our<br />
pride in this success. Students for<br />
your tremendous endurance, curiosity<br />
and willingness to learn and be a<br />
part of the development of the entire<br />
Jönköping University. For the alumni,<br />
a stronger and more competitive<br />
JIBS enhances your position in the job<br />
market, alumni are the prolonged JIBS<br />
experience and now you have reasons<br />
to be even prouder of your university.<br />
Congratulations to us all and especially<br />
to the Dean Jerker Moodysson and his<br />
team for their excellent work in making<br />
JIBS a world class business school.<br />
The JIBS Alumni Association, JAA,<br />
strives for being an active and visiblenetwork,<br />
providing membership value<br />
through inspiring activities to fostery<br />
our social, professional and personal<br />
goals. For me, being a JIBS Alumni<br />
means that wherever in the world you<br />
are, your alumni association should<br />
always be present, either at your local<br />
residence or most likely via our online<br />
media channels. We have come a long<br />
way, but still there is a lot of things to<br />
work with and we want you to be a part<br />
in this development.<br />
The board of JIBS Alumni is recruiting<br />
new board members. If you want to take<br />
part and help us develop the Alumni<br />
Network, apply today. Students graduating<br />
in June 2018 are also welcome<br />
to apply, as are exchange students who<br />
have completed at least one semester at<br />
JIBS and thereby qualified members of<br />
the network. In the following pages you<br />
will be able to read about our open applications.<br />
