Other cultural events that take place in<br />

the city are bull riding competitions and<br />

rodeo championships. The annual Tri-State<br />

Fair Parade is held each September, and<br />

features equestrian riding clubs, floats,<br />

marching bands, and area ROTC units, as<br />

well as local military reserve units. The<br />

Kwahadi Dancers are a youth performing<br />

group who present interpretive songs,<br />

dances, and stories representative of Native<br />

American culture. They perform regularly<br />

for residents and tourists at the Kwahadi<br />

Kiva Indian Museum and Event Center<br />

and throughout the region at community<br />

events. <strong>Amarillo</strong>ans also enjoy gatherings<br />

that feature expert horsemanship and<br />

shooting like the Cowboy Mounted Shooting<br />

Association World Championships.<br />
