Standard 2.2 Establishes and maintains appropriate<br />

collaborative relationships with colleagues and members of the<br />

healthcare team<br />

This standard deals with the radiographer and radiation therapist’s role as a member of<br />

the multidisciplinary team. Radiographers and radiation therapists should endeavour to<br />

create strong working relationships with other members of the professional team in<br />

order to ensure the best possible care for patients. The standard addresses the<br />

communication requirements, networking skills, understanding, and respect necessary<br />

to become a functioning member of the team.<br />
