Standard 4.2 Evaluate and implement processes and procedures<br />
for ensuring quality outcomes<br />
This standard looks at the evaluation processes used to establish continuous quality<br />
improvement. It aims to ensure that procedures developed are based on patients’ needs<br />
and that procedures are based on predetermined protocols. This standard also<br />
incorporates self-evaluation and reflective practice, which improves the quality of care,<br />
and leads to increased professional growth and development.<br />
